Corporate Compliance & Quality Assurance

Quality and safety are built into the way we work. CCQA helps AFS protect the people we serve and make sure we meet the standards expected of us. The team oversees medication practices, health and training records, internal reviews, regulatory requirements, privacy, and CARF accreditation.

How CCQA Supports AFS

For the Agency

CCQA keeps AFS prepared and accountable. We review agency practices, maintain required records, monitor compliance, and help identify areas where we can improve.

For Our Members

CCQA helps protect members and the quality of the services they receive. We monitor medication practices, maintain health records, review services, and address concerns that could affect a member’s health, safety, privacy, or rights.

For Our Employees

CCQA helps employees understand the requirements that come with their work. We provide training, answer questions, clarify policies and procedures, and help employees know what to do when they’re unsure.

How CCQA Helps

Your Training

We want you to feel prepared and confident in your role. We provide and track training such as CPR & First Aid, Mandt, ALICE, Medication Management, and quarterly and annual training. If you’re unsure what you need or when you need it, we’re here to help.

Member Health & Medications

Supporting someone’s health is an important responsibility, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. We help with medication requirements, monitor medication practices, maintain member health records, and provide guidance when questions or concerns come up.

Safety

Everyone deserves to feel safe at AFS. We help employees and members prepare for emergencies, recognize concerns, and understand what to do when something doesn’t feel right.

Policies & Procedures

Policies should help you do the right thing, not leave you wondering what the right thing is. We help employees understand AFS procedures, what is expected, and where to turn when something is unclear.

Quality & Internal Reviews

Quality means paying attention to what’s working and being willing to improve what isn’t. Our internal reviews help us recognize strengths, identify concerns, and find ways to provide better support.

Compliance & Accreditation

Standards matter because the people we serve matter. We help AFS meet regulatory and CARF accreditation requirements while helping employees understand what those expectations mean in their everyday work.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Privacy is about trust. We help protect member and employee information, provide guidance on HIPAA and privacy practices, and help you understand how to handle sensitive information with the care it deserves.
